"Life Lines" Series, 2003/2004

This work is a confluence of various readings — as "life lines" relate to the physical connections of people, as interconnections; as "a line in the sand" — something that separates us, or makes clear the boundaries; but also as a foretelling of the future.

My direction here has been to correlate the human and landscape elements. The course we decide to give our lives is a matter of individual concern, but it affects the environment around us. The exploration is how these are commingled.
